Dear Colleagues,

Dear Honored Guests,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to invite you to attend the 6th Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress, which will be held on October 16-18, 2009 in Military Museum and Cultural Center, Istanbul, Turkey.
This biannual conference was first organized in Constanta Harbor, Romania (1999).

On behalf of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, I'm very pleased to invite you to the 6th Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress on October 16 - 18, 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Istanbul is the only metropolis in the world that is situated on two continents.

2nd Congress in Thessalonici, Greece (2001), 3rd Congress in Odessa, Ukraine (2003), 4th Congress in Chisinau, Moldova (2005) and 5th Congress in Krasnodar, Russia (2007). Sixth Congress will be held in Istanbul, Turkey.
With the rapid advancing in recent years, we believe that there is a need of cooperation for delivering the knowledge and expertise among the neurosurgeons of Black Sea Countries. The site of the meeting will be Istanbul, one of the most historical cities of the world. Istanbul is not only a city along the shores of the Black Sea, it is also the only city that could bridge two continents. The main objective of the congress is to offer a high-level communication platform, providing the opportunity to extend and to enrich the field of development of neurosurgery in the region. We invite all neurosurgeons in the region to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

I look forward to seeing you in Istanbul on October, 2009 for this outstanding Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress for academic communication and friendship, and also enjoy the historic sightseeing and modern entertainment in the city of Istanbul.

With best regards.

Mehmet Zileli, M.D.

This city will be the “Cultural Capital of Europe” in 2010, and is rapidly becoming one of the most popular international congress and exhibition destinations.
We believe this conference will provide sessions of high scientific content, innovative topics, stimulating discussions on neurosurgery. In addition to the scientific program, there will be an enticing social program to make this congress a memorable event on the calendar. We also consider that this meeting is a good opportunity to get to know each other and establish new professional contacts and friendships among specialists from Black Sea countries.

We are looking forward to welcome you to the 6th Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress in Istanbul.
